As promised, here is a healthy breakfast option! I had this meal out by the pool this morning so I could enjoy the sunshine.
I had a fried egg with a piece of oatmeal toast and some strawberries. Don’t be afraid of eating eggs! One large egg doesn’t actually contain as much cholesterol as we once thought. It was all a myth! They are packed with iron, vitamin A, B, and D and Choline (a very important nutrient for the brain). They also have some protein! I paired the egg with a piece of oatmeal toast, which is even better for you than whole wheat! Last, some strawberries for my sweet tooth. Fruit really is natures candy! While I don’t like counting, this all came under 210 calories.
To drink? The Organic Skinny ginger tea by David’s Tea. Ginger is great for digestion and can act as a appetite suppressant. Great to help prevent too much snacking throughout the day!
